Permit Fees
  • $150 Irrigation Permit - All Irrigation system installations must be installed by a State of Texas Licensed Irrigation Installer
  • $225 Pool Permit
  • $375 Pool Permit with automatic refill (backflow device) - All backflow devices must be tested by a State of Texas Licensed Tester, this cost is not included with the pool permit.
  • $375 Pool Permit with propane (no backflow device)
  • $600 Pool Permit with propane and backflow device - All backflow devices must be tested by a State of Texas Licensed Tester, this cost is not included with he pool permit.
  • $225 Propane Permit 
  • $450 Remodel Permit
  • $90 Water Heater Permit
  • $90 Water Yardline Repair Permit   
  • $90 Sewer Yardline Repair Permit
Tap Fees 
  • $1,391.70 - Water Tap - ¾" Meter
  • $1,571.70 - Water Tap - 1"  Meter
  • $2,000 - Sewer Tap
  • $750 - Tap Deposit (Refunded when home is issued Certificate of Occupancy, less any re-inspection fees, outstanding utility fees, or water/sewer/drainage damage)
  • $450 - New Home Construction Inspections
Drainage Fees
  • New Home Construction - Deposit of $2,500 or $5,000 for alternate ditch design
  • Replatted Lot(s) - $200 payable to Village of The Hills (consult with the City for Replat/Vacation requirements)
